Note	Family created after Benz & Schmidt (2011) [PMID:11442838] who demonstrated the heptosyltransferase activity of the E. coli aah gene. Yao et al. [PMID:25310236] and Lu et al. [PMID:25211077] provided structural insights and highlighted the importance of the autotransporter glycosylation in several pathogenic bacteria.
