The European Symposium of Enzymes in Grain Processing is a forum where researches and technologists across academia and industry share recent progress and exchange ideas that will direct future use of enzymes in grain processing.

9th Carbohydrate Bioengineering Meeting (CBM9) in Lisbon, Portugal, from May 15 to 18, 2011.

The Conference will include sessions on structure, function and synthesis of carbohydrates ; mechanisms and structure-function relationships of CAZymes ; Glycoproteomics and systems glycobiology ; Carbohydrate and enzyme engineering ; Microbial communities and proteogenomics ; High-throughput analysis : gene cloning and enzyme screening in the genomic era ; Chemicals from carbohydrates : applications in renewable resource utilization and health.

4th Symposium on the α-Amylase Family (ALAMY_4), at the Smolenice Castle, Slovakia, from September 26 to 30, 2010.

Sessions will include and cover the α-amylase clan GH-H : (i) Structure-function relationships ; (ii) Metabolism of starch and glycogen ; (iii) Novel GH13 subfamilies ; (iv) Extremophilic amylolytic enzymes ; (v) Starch-binding domains as CBM families ; and (vi) Industrial aspects of starch processing.

25th International Carbohydrate Symposium (ICS2010) in Tokyo, Japan, from August 1 to 6, 2010.

The International Carbohydrate Symposium (ICS) is the most important event in carbohydrate chemistry and biochemistry, biennially organized under the auspices of the International Carbohydrate Organization (ICO). Since the first meeting held in1960 (Gif-sur-Yvette, France), ICS is going to enjoy its 50th anniversary in 2010.
