Activities in Familybroad-specificity glycan binding
Mechanism
NoteCreated following Stafford and coworkers: Frey et al. (2018) [PMID=29483296] demonstrated the broad binding properties of the CBM93 module in Tannerella forsythia NanH sialidase to various sialylated and non-sialylated glycans and Satur et al. (2022) [PMID=35916484] reported the 3D structure. Modules of approx. 160 residues with broad specificity glycan-binding properties, located at the N-terminus of GH33 sialidases.
